Makes 6 S’Mores<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ingredients<\/h2>\n

6 whole low-fat graham crackers, split in half to make 6 sandwiches
\n3-4 tbsp fat-free sweetened condensed milk
\n1\/4 cup dark chocolate chips
\n1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
\nA dash of your favorite low-cal sweetener to taste
\n6 large sugar-free marshmallows or a handful of smaller ones
\n1\/2 tsp vanilla extract<\/p>\n

Note: If you can’t find sugar free marshmallows in your grocery store, you can\u00a0easily\u00a0make them at home\u00a0with this recipe<\/a>\u00a0from Food.com.<\/em><\/p>\n

In a microwave proof dish, heat the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips on 50% heat in 15-second intervals until smooth. The slower the better. You don’t want to burn the chocolate.<\/p>\n

Add the cocoa powder and stir until smooth again. Taste test and add a little bit of sweetener until you get it the way you want it.\u00a0Stir in the vanilla extract.<\/p>\n

Spread 1 tablespoon of chocolate on six of the graham crackers squares.<\/p>\n

Warm your marshmallows over the fire or a grill. Put one on each chocolate covered graham cracker and sandwich with the remaining cracker.<\/p>\n

If you’re stuck inside, you can assemble the sandwiches, wrap in foil and heat in 250-degree oven for about 10 minutes.<\/p>\n

Want some alternatives to the traditional s’more? Try adding a little peanut butter, banana, apple or strawberry slices or try raspberry sauce if you’re not a chocolate lover.<\/p>\n
